WHAT TO EXPECT
We are so excited to be having our wedding at the Common Ground Center in Starksboro, VT! You can check out their website here, though fair warning, it's a little clunky and underwhelming. Nothing like this website ;)
Common Ground is a 700-acre property tucked into the foothills of the Champlain Valley, our home. There's plenty of space to roam: a pond to swim in, a creek to wander along, two solar-powered barns, an Eco Lodge, off-grid cabins, open fields, play structures and lots of love.
We invite you to join us for three days and two nights.
FRIDAY (PIZZA & PITCH IN!)
Informal rehearsal dinner for out-of-town guests, close friends, and family. Wood-fired pizza, homegrown salads, and maybe even a keg or two.
SATURDAY (BIG DAY, BIG DAY!)
Breakfast in the morning, then time to enjoy the property or explore town. Ceremony in the afternoon followed by the reception. Expect to cry, dance, laugh, eat, and all the classic wedding moments.
SUNDAY
Breakfast will be provided before heading out.
Because this is quite the production, we're hoping guests can pitch in with setup, breakdown, and light cleanup.
We'll have a caterer for Saturday night, but aside from that, this event will be powered by all of us. We've already reached out folks and will continue to do so, to assign specific roles, but we also hope you'll embrace the DIY spirit of both the event and the place.
